Friendly Mode

Alright you liiiiiitle shits. I already had to type this up once and because tumblr is an asshole, it got rid of it and now I have to do it again.

You see this app right here? It’s called ‘Zombies, Run!’ And you’ve probably heard of it through the kick starter or just on tumblr alone, but never really gave it anymore thought. Well, start thinking about it!

It’s a FANTASTIC app for working out. Just recently I’ve gotten really serious about my running and working out and this is a great way to do it. It makes it fun.

You are one of the runners, or on your way to becoming one of the runners for one of the last surviving towns during the zombie apocalypse. Your music is mixed in through these transmissions that you get from people watching you and guiding you from the town. They tell you where to go on your way to their town to get you away from the zombie or to let you know where the zombies are and if you need to speed up or not. You pick up things along the way that help you build up a base when you’re all done with your run.

It’s a lot of fun. The only downside really is the price, which is $3.99, but honestly, I think it’s worth every single penny. It’s a fantastic app and you guys should definitely try it out if you’re looking for a fun way to work out. It pushes you, and encourages you to keep going, even in the first mission.

Ye, that’s my app review for today haha. You guys should definitely look into it.

Oh! They also have another one that’s cheaper called, 5K Training ( $1.99 ), but that’s obviously for 5K training. Honestly, I think if you’re not going to run a 5K any time soon this one would be ideal. Again thanks for listening, reading- whatever. You know what I mean.
